We can accommodate a guest count up to 100 for a sit-down reception. Our hotel consists of 17 beautfiully decorated rooms that are a mix of standard, luxury queen, luxury king, suites and our 2 story loft wedding suite. Outside of the F&B options within the 118-room hotel, there are several other reasons to book a stay. For starters, its enviable location on picturesque Rittenhouse Square allows guests to easily get to most of the city’s main sights within a short walk — or simply sit on a park bench beneath the trees. There’s also The Rittenhouse Spa & Club, where both guests and members can take advantage of fitness classes, personal training sessions, and the sunny Atrium Pool.

This room, located in the Garden Building, features luxury bedding, a small refrigerator, a coffer maker, and a flat-screen TV. The historic Morris House Hotel is a beautiful property located conveniently near Market Street and many historic buildings. The staff is exceptionally friendly and our room was ample and comfortable. Professional sports games aren’t the only events that may result in traffic, street closures, and higher hotel prices.

The highlight of my stay, though, had to be the Underground Spa. As the name suggests, you’ll head below ground level to access the relaxing sanctuary and its various services. I opted to recharge with the Alpine Arnica Deep Tissue Massage, which was preceded by a quick dip in the indoor, heated pool. If you’re in the mood for excitement rather than relaxation, you’ll find a heavy dose of fun (and excellent Philadelphia views) at The Assembly Rooftop Lounge.
Perfect place to stay to compliment a historical tour a walking distance away. The number of extra beds allowed is dependent on the option you choose. The staff were exeptionally friendly and professional.

All the staff were nice and friendly and very helpful suggesting places to visit. The bedroom was very cosy and quiet, despite being on the roadside.
The Morris House Hotel located in the heart of center city is comprised of three beautiful historic buildings. We invite you and your guests to step through our wrought iron gates and enjoy our secret courtyard garden. The property is a hidden gem and we are so happy you found us! The historic charm is breathtaking and the courtyard gives off a majestic south of France feel. The outdoor garden is completely tented throughout the event season so there is no need to worry about a rain plan.
